Archontiko Tzortzis Traditional Greek village mansion (1864)

BFS residential courses are held in a traditional árchontiko'' or village mansion, in beautiful surroundings. An ideal environment to stimulate and improve your English language studies, while also providing the opportunity to relax and assimilate your new language.
Hotel Tzortzis: a traditional Greek village mansion and one of the first neoclassical mansions to be built on Mount Pelion (1864). Its restoration and refurbishment were carried out with total respect to the traditions and tone of the period. Archontiko Tzortzis has been listed as a "work of art" by the Greek Modern Monuments Authority.
Our aim is to provide you with an environment in which you can study and relax. The general atmosphere is informal but the academic objectives clear. Lessons are generally held outside in the cool shade of the courtyards.
Archontiko Tzortzi is located at an altitude of 400m, in the village of Agios Georgios and Nilias, approximately 10 km from the city of Volos. The village is just a few kilometers from the beautiful beaches of the Pagasetic Gulf. It is a traditional Pelion village, consisting of architecturally distinctive stone buildings, with a flagged square and stunning views across the Pagasetic Gulf. There are a small number of restaurants and cafes in the village, but the village remains relatively unspoilt.
